#FoodTech Holiday Style: A Delicious Industry for Chicago Entrepreneurs

Food tech is a booming industry. TechCrunch says food and grocery delivery has been one of the hottest VC sectors. More than $1 billion was invested in 2014, an almost fourfold increase year-on-year with an additional half a billion dollars invested in Q1 2015, according to CB Insights. In 2015, global investment reached $5.74 billion across 275 venture capital deals, according to Inc. Restaurants have incorporated self-service ordering kiosks and mobile ordering into their processes. And in the not too distant future, fast food will be prepared by robots.

Join us for a conversation with some of the brightest and most innovative food tech business leaders. Learn how the ideas were developed and the steps they took to launch their respective companies. Guests will also enjoy samples of the food & beverages or food products of our panelists' companies. Celebrate the holidays with us and influencers in tech. You must register on Eventbrite. This event is organized by ABI.Chicago and sponsored by the Coleman Entrepreneurship Center.
