Kiva Chicago Celebration of Economic Impact and Small Business

Please join Kiva Chicago and a few special guests for a celebration of economic impact and small business on Thursday, November 19th!
Small businesses are crucial to the economic development and success of Chicago, bringing diversity and character to our neighborhoods and economic vibrancy to our city. By visiting Kiva Zip Chicago anyone can make a loan to help these businesses thrive.
Kiva Chicago's Impact:
We have supported 30+ entrepreneurs and secured over $145K in loans to local small businesses. Through invaluable partnerships with many great Chicago organizations we continue to grow our Kiva Chicago community and support financially excluded and socially impactful business owners. Among our funded borrowers, four of them have gone on to bring their products to WholeFoods, and one of them became the finalist at the largest pitch contest on the South Side.
Kiva has truly revolutionized the way that small business owners are deemed worthy of access to capital they need to grow or launch their businesses, by emphasizing the importance of their character, and their standing in the community. As our team continues to grow, we expect to see exponential growth in the number of Chicago entrepreneurs who benefit from our program.
Food, drinks and good tunes will be provided! This is an open event so please share with your network.
Support Kiva Chicago through our event raffle! Thanks to the generous donations of our partners, we will be offering a selection of awesome raffle items, from crafts beers to free concert tickets! Latent Design and Activate Chicago has also offered a FREE week of rental in their new Boombox pop-up shop! For every $5 donated you will receive one raffle ticket, or for $20 donations you will receive 5! Tickets will also be available at the door.
We look forward to celebrating with you!
