Therapeutic Yoga for Back & Neck Care

Do you suffer from chronic or acute back pain, poor posture, disc problems, scoliosis, or neck pain? Do you wonder if your yoga practice is helping or hurting your back problems? If you’re like most Americans, you have experienced frustrating pain in your back and neck due to stress, injuries, muscle-weakness, or strain caused by the repetitive stress of your daily work or home life. Perhaps you carry most of you tension in your jaw, shoulders, and upper back, or, maybe you spend most of your day in front of a computer and find your lower back and neck achy and exhausted after work. Regardless of the cause, this workshop is appropriate for anyone with back and neck pain who wishes to have a gentle, lightly challenging yoga experience. Come to this workshop to explore how a thoughtful approach to yoga can help promote general health and well-being, and develop a practice suited to your body's needs. Learn how to strengthen supporting muscles, protect joints and connective tissue, relieve disc compression, modify postures and use props. If you’re tired of feeling chronically achy, or if you unconsciously reach for the bottle of ibuprofen at the end of the day, why not try this gentle class to see if yoga can improve your well-being? No previous yoga experience required. Space is limited and pre-registration is recommended. To register visit or call our front desk at 773-463-YOGA(9642)
