Restorative Yoga- Mothering Ourselves

Are you the last person you care for in the day? Do you believe that it is selfish or "wrong" to care for yourself first amidst the maelstrom of daily life?
 
In this workshop, we'll ponder what it means to mother ourselves and how this radical practice can foster greater connection with those we love.
 
Restorative yoga is a quiet, internally-focused form of yoga where the body is fully supported by props to promote deep relaxation and health. Research has shown that this radical practice can help to lower your blood pressure and respiratory rate, facilitate digestion, improve sleep, and promote muscle repair. What’s more, many people have found that a consistent practice of restorative yoga can strengthen immunity.
 
No previous experience required; this workshop is appropriate for all levels.
